Our Mission
The JRS community builds trust through teacher collaboration, inter-visitation, sharing strong practices, and our knowledge of students. We create a culturally responsive environment that encourages students to express and relate their own culture to what is learned in the classroom. We use standard-based assessments and ongoing data to ensure all students achieve social, emotional, and academic success. We are also committed to building strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and members of the wider community to enhance the growth and development of our school.
Instructional Focus
In all content areas, teachers design NGSS-aligned instruction to meet the individual academic needs of all students using small group instruction which result in increased students’ achievement levels.
